Please read these terms carefully before using HimRide's taxi or car rental services. By making a booking you agree to these terms.
1. Bookings
A booking is confirmed only when HimRide sends a written confirmation via WhatsApp or email. Verbal discussions do not constitute a confirmed booking.
- Changes to pickup time or destination must be requested at least 4 hours before the trip.
- We will respond to all booking requests within 30 minutes (7 AM – 9 PM IST).
- We reserve the right to substitute an equivalent vehicle if needed.
2. Fares & Payments
All fares are per vehicle, not per person, and are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Included: Driver charges, fuel for the agreed route.
- Not included (paid extra): Toll charges, parking fees, state entry taxes, night charges (10 PM–6 AM), driver stay allowance for multi-day trips (₹400–600/night), and permit fees for restricted areas.
- No advance payment is required for most bookings — pay cash to the driver at trip end.
- Multi-day circuits (3+ days) may require a 30% advance to confirm.
- GST invoices available on request for corporate bookings.
3. Cancellation Policy
- More than 6 hours before trip — Free cancellation
- 2–6 hours before trip — 25% of agreed fare
- Less than 2 hours before trip — 50% of agreed fare
- No-show (driver arrived, no passenger) — 100% of agreed fare
- Multi-day advance paid — non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours
Cancellations must be communicated via WhatsApp or call to +91 98825 01421. If HimRide cancels due to weather, landslide or road closure, a full refund or free rescheduling is offered.
4. Passenger Conduct
- All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
- Smoking, alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
- Passengers must not distract or give unsafe instructions to the driver.
- Abusive behaviour towards the driver will result in immediate trip termination with full fare charged.
- Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time.
5. Luggage
- HimRide is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Oversized luggage must be declared at the time of booking.
- Hazardous or illegal items must not be carried in our vehicles.
6. Driver & Vehicle
- All drivers hold valid commercial licences and mountain driving certification.
- The driver's decision on route, speed and rest stops is final for safety reasons.
- The driver may refuse to proceed if road or weather conditions are unsafe — this is not a breach of contract.
- If a vehicle breaks down, HimRide will arrange replacement transport at no extra cost.
- A ₹1,000 cleaning fee applies if smoking inside the vehicle occurs.
7. Self-Drive Rentals
- Renter must be 21+ years old with a valid driving licence (minimum 1 year old).
- A valid government photo ID must be submitted at pickup.
- A refundable security deposit of ₹5,000–₹15,000 is collected at pickup, returned within 24 hours of vehicle return.
- Vehicles are provided with a full fuel tank and must be returned full.
- Self-drive vehicles are permitted in Dharamshala and Kangra district only, unless prior written approval is given.
- Renter is responsible for all damage during the rental period.
- Driving under the influence, subletting the vehicle, or use outside permitted areas will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
8. Mountain Routes
- Mountain routes (Spiti, Kinnaur, Rohtang, Manali–Leh) involve inherent risks including unpaved roads, steep cliffs and sudden weather changes. By booking these routes you accept these risks.
- Inner Line Permits for restricted areas are arranged by HimRide but fees are borne by the customer.
- HimRide is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by landslides, snow, road closures or government orders.
- Passengers with heart conditions or breathing difficulties should consult a doctor before booking high-altitude routes.
- If a passenger shows signs of severe altitude sickness, the driver may descend immediately — this is a safety decision and attracts no refund penalty.
9. Liability
- All HimRide vehicles carry valid commercial motor insurance.
- HimRide is not liable for: traffic or weather delays, missed flights, loss of personal belongings, or illness caused by altitude.
- Maximum liability for property damage caused by our driver shall not exceed ₹50,000 per incident.
10. Force Majeure
HimRide is not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond our control — including natural disasters, government orders, road closures, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases, a full refund or free rescheduling will be offered.
11. Privacy
- We collect your name, phone number and trip details solely to manage your booking.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- Your contact details may be shared with the assigned driver for trip coordination only.

12. Complaints
For any complaints, contact us within 24 hours of your trip on +91 98825 01421 (WhatsApp/call) or email Webwavecyber@gmail.com. We aim to resolve all complaints within 3 business days.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. HimRide may update these terms at any time — continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
